We would also like to draw your attention to the fact that you can also set cookies individually in your browser settings. However, if you block all cookies there, this website and other websites may no longer be displayed correctly. If you want a complete and current overview of all third-party access to your Internet browser, we recommend installing a browser plugin created for this purpose. You can also configure your computer so that you are systematically informed of the sending of a cookie.
As an alternative, you can also deactivate all cookies. To do this, you need to change the browser settings on each browser and on each device you use. Each browser has small differences. We therefore invite you to consult the help menu of your browser to find out how to modify your cookies. If you deactivate your cookies, it may happen that you lose access to many functions that make pages and applications more efficient and that some of our services no longer work.
9. Integration of third-party services and content
As part of our online offer, our site partly integrates third-party content, such as videos from YouTube, maps from Google-Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites. This always assumes that the providers of this content (hereinafter referred to as “third party providers”) receive your IP address. Without this IP address, third-party providers cannot send content to your browser. We only integrate this content into our site to send you useful information or to facilitate a process for you without additional data processing. The legal basis for this data processing is therefore in Art. 6, al. 1, let. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest consists in being able to offer you this content in the form of a service. In addition, some services are only activated in the above sense if you actively select them. In these cases, the data processing is based on Art. 6, al. 1, let. a GDPR. If you do not wish to benefit from this content, you can make the corresponding settings in your browser settings. We strive to only use content whose respective providers restrict the use of your IP address to providing content. However, we cannot exercise any influence if the third-party provider stores your IP address for statistical purposes, for example. As far as we are informed, we pass the information on to users.
10. Analysis of user behavior and other services
10.1. Google Analytics and Tag Manager
The following data may be recorded or analyzed anonymously for exclusively statistical purposes:
* the pages visited and their order of consultation
* the operating system and browser used
* the date and time of the consultation of the pages
* the address of the website previously visited if you used a direct link to access our site
* origin information
10.2. Google Places API
On some websites we use the Google Places API to make it easier for our users to find a site related to a site and to automatically complete address data. Data collected through a search using the Google Places API is associated with Google's terms of service. Google processes data on the use of Places by the user. For more information: https://developers.google.com/maps/terms?hl=de#section_9.
10.3. Google AdWords Conversion Tracking and Google Remarketing
We use Google AdWords Conversion Tracking and Google Remarketing for advertising purposes.
As part of Google Conversion Tracking, Google Adwords stores a cookie on your computer if you have accessed our website through a Google ad. These cookies are deactivated after 30 days and are not used to identify the user. If you visit certain pages of our websites and the cookie has not yet been disabled, we and Google may know that you clicked on the ad and were transferred to that page. Each Adwords customer receives a different cookie, which is also the case for us. It is therefore impossible to track cookies through the websites of Adwords customers.
The information collected using conversion tracking cookies is used to establish conversion statistics for Adwords customers. Adwords customers see the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were transferred to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, we do not receive information allowing users to identify themselves personally. If you do not wish to participate in the tracking process, you can refuse the registration of a corresponding cookie, for example by deactivating the category of cookies "Targeting cookies" in our Cookie-Preference Center. The legal basis for our use of Adwords is your consent according to Art. 6, al. 1, let. a GDPR.
In the context of Google Remarketing, cookies make it possible to know, under cover of anonymity, your search behavior on the web for marketing purposes. The information acquired is used to tailor advertising offers to your interests. In any case, these technologies do not collect or save personal data to determine your identity. In addition, the DoubleClick by Google cookie (Pixel TAG) is used to enable the remarketing of products like AdWords in the Google Display network. Cookies store information such as the date of your visit as well as information to determine whether it is your first visit and data relating to the website which referred you to this site. You can also configure these cookies individually in the VSookie Preference Center.
12. Agreement / Refusal regarding the collection and storage of data
By using this website, you agree to the processing of the data collected about you in the manner described above and for the stated purpose of this processing.
With regard to objections to the collection and storage of data, we refer you to your rights under number 15 below and to the deactivation options listed under the different services or in general with regard to the browser settings in figure 8 above.
13. Secure Socket Layer (SSL)
Secure Socket Layer (SSL) is a protocol for the secure transmission of data over the Internet. Most browsers support this process. SSL uses the Public Key process, where data encoded with a publicly accessible key can only be re-decrypted with a specific private key. Most browsers use a key or padlock to indicate whether the connection is secure or not.
14. Your rights
If you wish to have information on the processing of your data, you can send us your request for information in writing, enclosing a copy of your identity card or passport.
You can ask us at any time to correct erroneous data or to complete incomplete data or to correct and complete them yourself at any time and to a certain extent on the customer portal.
You can also request the deletion of your data, provided that we are not obliged or authorized to keep your data, under the laws and regulations in force.
Under the legal conditions, you have the right to demand the restriction of the processing of your data. In this case your data are not processed further, apart from their archiving and subject to the exercise of legal claims.
In all cases where data processing is based on your consent, you have the right to revoke it at any time. The revocation of consent does not affect the legitimacy of the processing carried out due to your consent until the revocation. The Cookie Preference Center offers you the possibility to configure your cookies according to your needs.
You also have the right to complain to the competent data protection supervisory authority.
If the processing of your data is carried out using automated processes and is based on your consent or a contract, you have the right to receive your data from ELC SA in a structured, current and automated format.
You can object to the processing of your data, which we carry out on the basis of Art. 6, al. 1, let. f GDPR for reasons of legitimate interest.
You can forward the corresponding requests to our data protection officer at firstname.lastname@example.org.
15. Scope of the privacy statement
These data protection provisions apply to our website, services and applications of ELC SA, provided that specific provisions are not recorded there. Our website may contain links to the websites of other providers, to which this data protection declaration does not extend.
16. Amendments to these data protection provisions
We reserve the right to modify or supplement these data protection provisions at any time. If we process your data for purposes other than those for which your data was collected, we will notify you in advance in an appropriate manner.
